Melian Foundation collaborates with other stakeholders to train and equip Community based Health Workers (CHWs) and other service providers with knowledge and skills to execute routine home visits, provide nutrition care as part of ongoing services for people living with HIV/AIDS, TB, Diabetes, Cancer and other chronic illness.
Through our Home Based care Services, we also support effective and sustainable linkages and referral systems to PLHIV to utilize opportunities in community social groups, economic strengthening groups, saving groups like VICOBA and Livelihood projects within their surrounding environment. The Comprehensive Community-Based HIV Prevention, Counseling and Testing Programme for reduced HIV Incidence (CBCT) helps to expand and strengthen high-quality community-based HIV counseling and testing models for both general population & key populations in high-incident communities.
The government has already put in place strategies to support communities establish such sources and our role will be to facilitate the process toward implementing such programs to the marginalized communities and the groups in need.
Our committment is to stand with other partners and government to facilitate the established strategies and implement programs which will entirely focus on supporting the global SDG's and government strategies.
